What do you think about Poland banning Kosher slaughtering?

I think It's a stupid law and discriminatory against Jews. What country has the right to do that.

So what do you think? How is Kosherly Slaughtering an animal bad for an animal?

When the people that wanted it banned probably go hunting and kill their animals in a cruel way.

Update:

@ goblinoid No country Should have the right to tell you what you can and cannot eat drink or even kill an animal.

@Nicolas interesting you say that you know nothing about Kosher and it's the way it was killed to make it kosher and all the blood is out . The kosher animal is killed in a kosher way for immediate death not a slow death. How is Poland right by doing that? What's the matter with a Jew killing an animal in a kosher way? Who knows how other people kill the animals they may shoot it probably. But when it comes to Religious things people disagree with it and want it banned.

They banned it because they were probably anti-Semitic I mean they are sending a message and it's saying they don't like us Jews or don't want Jews living there. They ban kosher meat Next what? They may even ban other things we Jews do.

The poles as much as they hated the Nazis enthusiastically assisted them in the killing of the Polish Jews. Even after the, when Jews returned home to try and move back into their homes, many were killed by poles for daring to come back and want to live in their own property! With virtually no Jews living in Poland, and the few that are there generalyl living in poverty, you still have political parties in Poland claiming that Poland's problems are all caused by Jews. Bottom line, Poland was anti-Semitic in the past, they are anti-Semitic now and will probably remain anti-Semitic into the future. the only question to ask is why there are Jews still living there when they know how anti-Semitic the poles are

    Figures

I guess they're over feeling nostalgic for all the dead jews and are starting back on the tried and true path of Christian supremacism.

    > Do they have a right to make discriminatory laws? -

    Why not?

They have no constitutional guarantees of religious and ethnic equality.

maybe its God's way of saying -- "what the heck are y'all still doing there?"

Europe has had an increase in antisemitism. Poland has persecuted Jews for centuries. Shouldn't be a surprise.

Kosher, halal or other requirements regarding food and food processing are atavistic and absurd beliefs in "Voodoo". No GOD would require such nonsense.

Poland seems to be on the right way to avoid additional pain to animals when they are being slaughtered for food.

Kosher and Halal slaughter requires the animal to be alive to facilitate the draining of the blood and proponents argue the throat slitting is humane because the animal dies quickly or some claim instantaneously.

It is claimed that due to the ‘sharp’ blade the animals are killed in one stroke. With the animal collapsing almost immediately due to an abrupt outpouring of blood thanks to a clean and complete severing of both jugular veins and cateroid arteries.

It has also been claimed, in some articles or commentary, that ritual slaughter is in fact more humane and painless than mandatory pre stun captive bolt conventional methods.

Analysis of the ritual slaughter proponents assertions:

Opposing evidence includes quotes that include eye witness accounts as well as hard science to disprove the above claims.

The evidence against ritual slaughter is so overwhelming that assertions and articles presenting it as humane seem like ignorance at best and at worst deliberate equivocating in order to mislead and provide partial truths. All in a desperate attempt to avoid the inevitable banning or shunning of the practice, at least in Western countries that do not share these cultural views.

Because they don't think people have the right to slaughter animals in one of the most painful ways possible because it says so in a book.

"What country has the right to do that?" Every country has the right to make their own laws.

Animals shouldn't have to suffer more pain just because people are too stupid to ignore bronze-age mythology.

  • Religious superstitions need to go.

    Poles do not circumcise either.

    I think it's idiotic.
