Is the Walther pk380 a good choice?
I really like the way this gun looks and feels but i have read recently that many people have had problems with it jamming and failing to eject. I am looking for some more information on how this gun has performed for its owners and if they would recommend it to a man with large hands.

I understand what you mean by how it feels in the hand. I have the non-stippled P22 and a P99, so I understand how the ergos of the gun feel in the hand. IF you are like me, and really like the paddle magazine release, try finding a PPQ 9mm M1, not M2. The M1 has the paddle mag release, longer than the PK380 and P22 paddles. The PPQ also has a stippled grip that just begs to be held. The M2 version, which is a current production, does not have the paddle mag release. It has the standard thumb button release, like most other current production pistols. I do believe that the mag release button on the M2 can be switched over for left hand use. The M1 and M2 have ambi slide release levers.
If you just have some niche for the 380 and you have large hands, then I would recommend the PK380 because there really is not much of a selection, if any, for 380 pistols that are the same dimensions as the PK380, though I would prefer it to have the longer mag release paddle like the P99 and PPQ M1.
I know you'll have no problem finding a PPQ M2 in most gun stores, but if you really like the stippled grip and must have the paddle mag release and cannot find a PPQ M1, if you have more money to spend, say in the upper $700 to upper $800 range, look for the HK P30.

My advice is to keep looking. Have you thought about checking out any other guns? Try looking for a S&W M&P Shield, Glock 26, or Ruger LCP. If you haven't handled and possibly fired other guns, you really shouldn't be set on that first gun that you've tried.
If you really like the Walther, go for it, but in my opinion Walthers are a bit overpriced in comparison to many other handguns.
