Edith - 2/10 - Sounds old as opposed to old-fashioned. I like Edie but I'd use it as a nickname for Eden or Edina (Eh-Dee-Nuh).
Tessa 0/10 - I've never liked this name. I've met two women with this name, (one was Tessa-Ann) they both hated it; Tessa-Ann went by Ann and the other used her middle name.
Veda 1/10 - Is it Vee-Duh or Vay-Duh? Either way I'm not a fan...pronunciation is one of the reasons.
Evander 2/10 - I don't like it. I prefer Evan by itself.
Franklin 8/10 - Great name. It's nice for any age and is strong and solid, yet cool and modern.
Hugo 5/10 - It's not a bad name but I prefer Hugh.

I like the female name Edith very much. Then comes Veda and Tessa.
The interesting male name is Evander. I will rate the Franklin and Hugo a little bit lower than Evander. :)
