Should I tell my manager that I'm getting a tattoo?
I'm a hostess at a restaurant and I'm planning on getting an inch-sized tattoo on my wrist. Our "official" work policy is to have no visible tattoos but at least 3 other servers/hostesses have some the same size or larger than I'm planning on getting mine.
I was wondering if I should tell my manager first?

yea but tell him its only a minor one and that your sure it wont effect other peoples opinins about you or the resturant, also dont mention how your co-workers have them this might make your manager think your an untrustworthy employee

Yes. Because if You just "let Him find out" on his Own, He may just let YOU start Looking -for another Job !! :o
