when is the obamacare website going to be working/?

The healthcare.gov line is working for some, especially in Democrat-governed states like California. More than 450,000 people have registered and a whole host of others have accessed the sites. Higher-than-expected volume has caused some of the Insurance Exchange sites to crash, but some of this overload is actually sabotage orchestrated by the Koch-oil-barons' and insurers lobbyist-funded bloggers (rightwing homeschooled minions duped into acting against their own self-interests).

I got an e-mail from the White House this morning which tells us that President Obama is addressing the problems and will be speaking out on the topic on Monday. There is an overhaul of the online sites to accommodate the heavy traffic. And don't forget there are more than four months to register for these insurance exchanges and, from what the e-mail said, there will be alternative routes or actions outlined when the President speaks.

In the meantime, I highly recommend that people go to whitehouse.gov and ReadTheBill.org to read the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148) and its supplemental Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (P.L.111-152), a.k.a., the Affordable Care Act or Obama Care, in their entirety to clarify eligibility and identify the many positive benefits available. Also check to see if your state has accepted the full funding for a Medicaid expansion and, if not, then call your elected officials to find out why (lobby for the expanded program, in other words).

Check out this figure for yourself, but I believe that people who make as much as 465x above the poverty level do qualify for the expanded Medicaid and those making slightly more than this amount qualify for subsidies.

You are correct about the sabotage---there is a GOP bloggers convention every year (shown on C-SPAN) where the rightwing extremists like Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, biblical-literalist Heritage Foundation members, and their ilk "rally their minions" to obstruct, to spread lies and distortions (like BreitBrat or Beck), or to sabotage. You could try going directly through the Department of Health and Human Services, since your state has declined the Medicaid expansion dollars, and communicate with Director Kathleen Sebelius or her staff---I bet they would help you get what you need.

If I were you, I would find an insurance agent who can sign you up. On the website, hidden away, it says you have no expectation of privacy. You shouldn't put all your health and financial personal information on a huge website with so many problems. I think there are licensed agents in each state. It doesn't cost you any more to do it this way and you will get all your questions answered. Please make sure you understand the deductible choices, prescription benefits and what doctors and hospitals will be available to you. I would like to hear from you if the subsidy really helps you afford insurance. I hear all sorts of stories, see some things posted, but I don't know what's true and what's made up. God luck!

It's most likely being hacked, cons will stop at nothing to make this thing fail. Why? Cause it's the only thing Obama has done so far that cons can make most Americans disagree with.
