John Green books are super great (the fault in our stars and looking for Alaska are awesome)

The divergent series is really good too. It's more action-y and suspenseful but it has some romance in it too

'The sea of tranquility' By Katja Millay.

trust me, it's an absolute beautifully written book, just go see the reviews on goodreads. if not, john green books are pretty good too, and some rick riordan ( you're never too old for children's books! )
