Can someone help me identify rhetorical devices?
Okay I wrote this poem but I don't think I have found all of the rhetorical devices I could find. Can someone help me identify any extra devices and say where in the poem you found them? So far I have found Paradox, metaphor, repetition and possibly Juxtaposition. If it is juxtaposition it'd be great if you could let me know. Here's the poem.
Lifted, but Fallen - Good Copy
Lifted, but fallen
Remembered, while Forgotten
Motionless, yet Flinch
Surrounded but alone
It's dark
I feel dirt beneath me
Dressing my knees
With life speeding by
The heavy scent of rust
Envelops my senses
as red ribbons,
Cascade down my porcelain skin
My red paint coats the ground
I lay in a pool of remembrance
I shape my picture
That can't form together
The rain drops from heavens
Down my boney cheek
Dripping down my boyish face
Erasing my picture
My basin tips over
Colour fills the ground
No more red
Only black
I can taste the pain
Midnight strikes,
The last twelve I see
I betrayed my picture
Thanks to anyone that can help me out!!
