What is your opinion of PM David Cameron?

I've only read a little about David Cameron, but already I like him. From what little I've read he seems to be sincerely interested in the needs of the British people.

As one of his first moves in office, he appointed Nick Clegg, leader of the Liberal Democrats, as his Deputy. Was this just a grab for power, or was it a sincere effort to unite the two parties?

What's your take on him?

Update:

Phillipe, no need to apologise. Thanks for your opinion; but can you tell me why you dislike him?

Update 2:

Charlie Endell. Thanks for your response. Your comments are rather harsh, but you've certainly given me something to think about.

Cameron is a guy who isn't quite at the level required to be a good PM, we don't seem to have anyone in the running who is, from any party.

Sometimes he is okay, a lot of the time he is just damn awful.

The Tories have back tracked so many times, wasted so much money, and then tell everyone that they are trying to save money. The NHS costs more, but it's much worse than it was. Education is a disaster.

On Europe he is one of the few people who seem to be trying to deal with the EU, realising the UK has a lot of potential power. However he doesn't seem to be that strong or that good at it.

Sorry but out of 1 to 10 I only give him 3. He is my least favourite UK PM From the last 50 years and I cant stand right wing. I gave Blair a 4 and John Major a 9 so my opinion varies. I thin he just comes a across as arrogant and I have always been more Liberal than right. I disliked Tony Blair for similar reasons.

He's an incompetent posh boy. Some of the policies his government are pursuing are so wrong-headed it's just baffling why they are doing it.

He appointed Nick Clegg because he needed LibDem support to form a majority government; it was an act of self-interest, nothing more. The Conservatives then promptly undermined the policies the LibDems wanted to pursue such as House of Lords reform and the introduction of proportional representation in General Elections.

From the media, you will only ever read good about any Conservative leader!

    Here's why:

Conservatives serve only their wealthy friends.

Their wealthy friends 'own' the media!

    This isn't rocket-science.

Cameron is from a wealthy background; he (like all Conservatives) doesn't understand that many of us have evolved beyond the spiritually infantile money-lover condition.

Sincere in his beliefs but lacking in substance? He had to take the measures to confront the terrible financial position we were in but I do believe that the present predicted improvement will be short lived for the optimism is based on unpredictable forecasts involving financial services and the housing market. I feel that the working classes will start to mutiny and I am concerned that we will see public unrest and Ill feeling against the richer people in this country for whom Cameron is a strong supporter. I do not think he will lead us into the next election.

  • He is another OXBRIDGE posh boy that has never done a days hard graft in his life, never mind go to the corner shop for a loaf of bread and a pint of milk.

He is another Manchurian candidate silver spooned idiot who lies about unemployment figures, sell off our assets and sanctions the money of the poorest most desperate in our society whilst he keeps our borders open and invites China to come and pick at the remains of the UK .

Referendum on Europe my ****. Europe owns his **** alongside the Arab sheiks and their oil riches, this was why after a British soldier got decapitated in broad daylight on a London street he had the gall to talk about not victimising the Muslim community? What about the greater non muslim community who are having to put up with their crap. I hate him on a equal pegging with the rest of the LIB-LAB-CON alliance of sellouts and traitors.

Source(s): Common knowledge of a traitor posh boy owned by many and who will betray the UK to secure the nice pay offs and pensions that await him.

He is my least liked Eton old boy and that includes the liar Boris Johnson.

    Why do I dislike him,

even though he had a disabled child (with several private nannies to help him) he has waged a war on Disabled People, using ATOS as his blunt weapon, culminating with over 10,000 premature deaths of disabled people in 2011.

He has dragged over 300,000 middle class people INTO the top rate of tax whilst benefiting himself and his friends by lowering their tax obligations.

many other reason but these two will suffice.

I was recently sent a photograph of him standing by this road sign. I'm not a big fan of Mr Wan, either.
