Is there a way to remove the decal from the gas tank?
the one reminding me to wear a helmet. I may need that space for a better decal.

Use a. rock , preferably one with a sharp edge .
Aiming carefully so you don't damage the paint around it , strike the decal at a 60 degree angel several times until it's gone .

You can try Rapid Clear or Goo Gone

hair dryer will soften it enough to peel it off the a solvent like goo gone to get the glue off

get an iron and steam it and then gently starting from a corner peel it slowly need to keep steaming with the iron to get it off.
