An infallible inerrant historical true document about God and human history.

As God’s redemptive purposes and plan unfold in Scripture, five recurring motifs are constantly emphasized:

    ~ the character of God

~ the judgment for sin and disobedience

~ the blessing for faith and obedience

~ the Lord Savior and sacrifice for sin

~ the coming kingdom and glory

The Christian view of history says that history is the working of God's purposes as explained in the Scripture.

Secondly, God is sovereign over all history. He rules it all. By providence which is the supernatural pulling together of all diverse natural factors and by miracle which is supernatural intervention into the natural, He controls it all. The Christian world view of history also says that Christ is the main person of history, that all of history looks to Christ. His coming is the greatest and most notable event in human history. The Christian view of history says that God is moving all history toward a divinely planned goal. And every person has an ultimate appointment with God to determine his eternal destiny. God started it. God controls it. And God is bringing it to its conclusion.

The Word of God - but NOT the words of God (which is something totally different), that contains human wisdom, and myth. Although Theologians use the word "myth" in a slightly different sense - a story about truth but for which the details might not be.

So, you are pretty much 3 for 3 in your list.

  • A garbled collection of selected texts into a specific religious canon. Also, the centerfold between the Old Testament and the New Testament is horrible. Mary Magdalene had been around the block so many times it looked like she could be used as a windsock at an airport.

The word of God which has been fiddled with by the hands of men. And so there are a lot of errors and contradictions. It contains some words of God there buy some aren't because how can a supposed omniscient being make mistakes or errors?

An unexpected kaleidoscope of human triumphs and failures, attempting to explain something no one can really explain.

A maze of words and letters locked in seemingly shallow verses that appear to be cut and pasted in random ways so that taking one part to another appears to make as much sense as if it was still in the original context.

Mostly myths, but even myths can teach lessons.

Also it was a step we've evolved physically and mentally, the bible was a step towards spiritual, I like to believe we can move on.

A book of myths and legends designed, in the case of the New Testament, to control and subdue a rebellious population of a competing religion and coerce them into paying their taxes.

It is a collection of Myths and Legends stolen from other cultures and religions.
