Problem with iTunes after jailbreaking?
I successfully used sn0wbreeze to jailbreak my iPod, up to the point where it finished restoring onto my iPod. My iPod is a 2G, running iOS 4.2.1.
When I plug my iPod into iTunes, it says "Itunes was unable to verify your device. Please disconnect and reconnect." However, it won't work after disconnecting and reconnecting. My iPod screen displays the iTunes symbol, with an arrow indicating that I should plug my iPod into iTunes.
What do I do? I can't get into my Ipod, or DFU mode, and iTunes will not recognise it for me to try and restore it.

You may have bricked your ipod. This is one of the many reasons I personally advise against jailbreaking.

My iPhone (3G) did something very similar to that. I left it on until the battery died and had to start again after I plugged it into the wall.
That was very much an accidental fix. I hope someone has an better answer than this or "don't jailbreak".
