Because you're not Eva Cassidy, you have a different / unique voice then her. If you want to get better then practise and or see if vocal lessons would help if you want to get serious about singing.

Simply, you are YOU, not Eva Cassidy. But, you can improve your singing skills if you start taking OFFline, one-on-one lessons with a GOOD vocal teacher!
