    Considering there are different ways to change a person, usually the phases are the same. First, after being bitten/infected, simple senses are lost, and a grip on the real is faded, afterward, excessive sweating and accelerated heartbeat, thirdly, a comatose-like state takes over, and the heartbeat slows greatly, lastly, the person passes in their sleep and awake a vampire.

    first you have to lose all touch with reality

    then they bite you

    you die

    they feed you with their vampire blood

    you are now a vampire and are sired to that vampire and will be controlled by him/her
