Can I get a list of great plus-sized stores in Paris, France?
I'll be traveling to Paris next year. I have been loosing weight, but probably won't ever be a skinny little thing again. I know at least the last I visited, women tended to be thinner. Where can I buy clothing that would fit similar to an American size 12 (misses) to size 14 (womens)?
Things have REALLY changed in Paris if every shop has 44-46 these days. When I was last there, I wore a size 10. That was around 15 years ago. The clerks in several shops made fun of me for being too fat for their clothing. They thought since I was American and couldn't speak French terribly well, that meant I also could not understand it well. I had a terrible time finding a shop anywhere carrying up to that size then.

US 12 to 14 is 42 to 44 in France for trousers, 44 to 46 for dresses and shirts. You find that kind of size for women in every shop. Up to 44 is considered normal size range, 46 is plus size but now many shops have those size as French women become heavier.
