Is it normal to have a pet Chair Leg called Pete?

    Bowi. I beg to differ, most chair legs I have known were called Malcolm, though I have met a few American legs called Dwayne.

    And of course it's okay that you should have pet leg called Pete. Just let us know when you are going out walking him.

    Perfectly normal I assure you. Upkeep is minimal, no vet bills, and a quick rub down with a good furniture wax, should take care of all health matters for years to come.

    Great pity however that you cannot find it in your heart to extend the same sort of friendship to some poor little sod who would really appreciate a good home, in addition to Pete of course.

    Why not give it some serious thought ?

    I have a cactus called Jim so no that's not weird at all.
