What was all this about?
I woke yesterday morning at 7am, like I usually do, but felt so much that I wanted to go back to sleep that it almost hurt. So I did go back to sleep at 9 and slept until 1pm, then I had to drag myself up as I had a dentist's appointment to go to. When I got back at 3pm I fell asleep on the settee and only woke for the toilet at 7pm, then went back to sleep in bed and woke at 9am this morning. What the devil? How can I sleep that much? Am I falling ill? I have been up for an hour and a half now and I feel okay today. Did all my missing sleep catch up with me in one go?

Your body knows what its doing and if it has a virus , or not slept for a while, it will close down until its restored itself , as certain internal repairs take place best when you sleep eg liver. Whatever it was , I am glad you are feeling ok now.

I read that completely. It is not a big problem. Some time our body ask some rest from us. Accidentally feel deep drowsy. So we couldn't do anything . We have to sleep until when removing drowsy. So It is not to get worried. So now you feel well. But keep in touch. That king of feeling coming randomly within one or two weeks. It should be some announcement for some diseases. you to meet doctor and get advice
