Computer shut down suddenly and will not come on...?

My computer stays on most of the time. I recently reapplied thermal paste to the heatsink and replaced the power supply fan, but now I think maybe its my power supply because I get absolutely nothing when I try to start it. No flicker of light even. Does this sound like a problem with the power supply or is there anything else that would cause this?

Power supply most likely. Do not try to start up your PC with your current power supply, it may burn something, just unplug it out of your PC and try to borrow one just to test, if everything works, you're fine, if not, you should check if any other components of your hardware are damaged, check electricity source as well.
