Puppy Question ... any advice appreciated.?

My puppy is 10mths old and has her first season. She is quite swollen around her 'area' and is quite under the weather and a bit quiet/lethargic......do you think this is normal?? Or...should we take her to the Vets.

Thank you for any serious answers.

I have 2 female Westies and they both act different just like we do, my youngest was 2 years old this week and her first season she acted like that I think because she didn't know what was happening to her. It is definately normal for her to be swollen she will only receive a male when you touch her beside her tail on her back she will move her tail to the side. Hope this helps good luck.

    It is totally normal.

If you are not showing her then do get her spayed sometime between the end of this cycle and the next.
