install email client to Yahoo?
When I am in IE Win 7, I get error messages saying I need to get email client first before I can send messages to commercial websites. There is no Yahoo in list of email clients even though I have Yahoo mail (paid version) and Yahoo is my homepage. I also have Outlook email program but I do NOT want to use this personal email program for my commercial communications. Thanks.
Most of the time I am able to copy and paste the email address in my Yahoo when I compose emails. But once in a while it is noty possible to copy it perhaps because they don't want the public to know their email address.

You are confused with the difference between an email service and an email client.
When you click on a mail link at most websites it transfers you to the default email client. An email client can send and receive email for many email services. Yahoo has just started giving free POP3 to everyone though it seem to be missing from the options today. Once that is put back you can turn it on and set it up in Outlook if desired.
If you want the links to go to the Yahoo mail website then...
₪ For Firefox
Go to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu.
₪ For Internet Explorer
You must first download Yahoo! Toolbar from http://toolbar.yahoo.com/ and install it. Before the download starts there is an option screen. Be sure to check that you want to make yahoo mail your default email.
NOTE: If you do not want to use the toolbar then just hide it under view>toolbars. I do not know if uninstalling the toolbar removes the email add-on.
If you do not want to do these options then you must just copy the email address from the website and paste it into a new email.
