How do I get my books onto the iphone Kindle App?

I have the Kindle Touch 3G and all of my books were downloaded on my computer and then transferred to the kindle. I just got the kindle app and my account is synced and everything but it says there's no books in the cloud, whatever that is. Could someone please tell me how get my books onto the app? Thanks in advance :]

    There will be no books in your Kindle Cloud if you did not buy the books at Amazon. The Amazon Kindle Cloud is only for the storage of Kindle books bought at Amazon.
