what helps you sleep?
I think I'm an insomniac. I average about 3-4 hours or less most nights. I can't get to sleep. I wake at 5am 5 days a week because I have to. On the weekend I can sleep longer but I still have problems going to sleep no matter how tired I am or how long i lay there. I will not take pills and don't drink alcohol. So is there anyways you can think of to get to sleep easier?
Well I workout almost everyday. And am very active in my job plus play sports. So I don't think I can exercise anymore. I don't have a TV in my bedroom and hardly watch anyway as I'm way too busy. Reading sounds like an idea, I'm gonna try that as I love to read but haven't in quite a while.

Turn off the TV, computer, and other devices with screens at least an hour or two before bedtime. The artificial light is a stimulant.
I try to read a book that is not too exciting at bedtime. That usually helps me get sleepy.

Melatonion or Valariun. Also try not to keep your brain awake as well if its possible. The more I tend to think the more I stay awake.

Melatonin. You said you won't take pills but did you know your body actually produces it. It is perfectly safe.
