Quickbooks: Driver is owed Per Diem. How to enter unpaid per diem in QB?
Driver is wracking up Per Diem but won't be paid for it for a while.
He wants us to keep it and cut him a check all at once but I need to enter it into the QuickBooks to keep track of it...
Do I enter it in as a Liability or an Expense?
I'm very confused as I am new at this and my CPA is on vacation so I can't ask him until at least next week.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

salaries payable so a liability would make more sense since he isn't going to be receive it for a while once he has received you can enter that an Expense.
