Is it true that attaching buttered toast to a cat's back creates antigravitic effects?

Cats always land on their feet. Buttered toast always lands butter-side down. Your thoughts?

    All it should accomplish is intense scratching damage and the need for a transfusion. Schrodinger already tried this before he put the cat in the box.

    The cat will land on its side, or the cat and the toast will annihilate eachother in a flash of light before they hit the ground.

    This made me laugh, the obvious answer is no.

    Once stuck to the cat, they are one free body falling. It would indeed be a weird phenomenon to see.
