Why is the disc upgrade to Pandaria for WoW so much cheaper than the online upgrade?
It's about 10 bucks to buy the disc on Amazon and 40 dollars to upgrade via Battle.net. Why? Are they not the same thing? That seems like a huge gap just for the convenience of downlowing vs. waiting for a disc in the mail.

What version are you upgrading from? The free "starter" edition? It could be that the Battle.net upgrade includes all the expansion packs leading up to and including Pandaria (Burning Crusade, Lich King, Cataclysm). Also, when I look at Pandaria on Amazon, it is $19.99, so I'm not sure what you're looking at.
