how do i check if i was approved for unemployment?

i am in md i applied the other day....i had to leave work for a temporary medical emergency after working there for 5 years and they eouldnt let me come back

    It can take a few weeks to find out if you are approved or denied

    But if you quit even for a medical emergency you won't be eligible. If you had a medical emergency verifiable by a doctor and they fired you, you probably will be eligible.

    I could never live on unemployment, so I kept looking until I found a job.
