When he created Adam and Eve, did God intend for the world to remain sin-free forever?

If so, why do Christians say that we're all hopeless sinners who don't deserve to go to heaven? If Adam and Eve and their descendants could have remained sin-free throughout the ages, why can't people today be sin-free?

If it's *impossible* to be sin-free, then it's not humans' fault but the fault of their creator, isn't it?

Yes, that was his original purpose - for perfect humans to live forever in paradise.

If Adam and Eve had NOT sinned - they would still be here and we would all be perfect and living in paradise. While that is not happening NOW it is God's purpose for it to in the future. During the 1000 year reign of Christ he will raise mankind back to perfection right here on earth. Those who have died will be resurrectef to learn about jehovah God and his Son Jesus and if they are willing to live in harmony with his Word they will live forever right here on earth. 144,000 - chose by God will go to heaven to rule with Jesus as "kings and priests" Rev 5:10.

Very good question, one that can be perplexing. It is the essence of the original sin. There is much yo debate about this issue as it is the reason human mortal existence (son of man) in and of itself is sin, more to the point - unclean (not immaculate) according to some interpretations. The question that bakes my noodle is. Did God deliberately put the forbidden fruit in the garden so Adam would violate His command? Without this transgression what would have happened. Lest you forget, children came after the original sin. Up to that point Adam and Eve would live forever. No need for immortals to bear off spring. Just food for thought... Go forth and be fruitful!

he wanted us to be sin free, but satan and us had other things in mind.he knew we would fall, but thats not what he wanted again thats what we wanted.he died for us so we can be reunited, but not all of us are ,not because he dont want us to be,but because we want to do are own thing.he wants us to be in heaven, but so many are in hell, not because he wants us there, but because we dont want to do what he wills. it is our rejection of god that causes destruction.god can not do a single act that goes against love, therefore he can not force you to want him.

    god bless
