Starscrossed by Josephine Angelinie. Like all the books, at first it infuriated me because there were so many twists and secrets in the damn beginning and I just wanted to give up after the second chapter. But of course, I can't put a book down without finishing it, and I'm soooooo glad I finished it because it turned out to be the best book I've read in the last two years! (Except for Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series, still my NO #1 choice)

A Long Way Gone. The most amazing book I have ever read. After reading it, I found the author, Ishmael Beah, and when he was nearby on his book tour, we met up and went to dinner together and he shared more stories with me. An amazing, amazing person.

Wow, Adam! Brilliant story about a great book and the author. I am jealous! I train dogs, so that's all I read about anymore, it seems. Think I'll give myself a treat and pick up a book to read on anything BUT dogs!

OP, I just got done with The Healing Tough for Dogs by Doctor Michael W. Fox. It's a form of massage to help calm, as well as diagnose your dog. I volunteer a lot with rescued dogs from Puppy Mills and so anything I can bring to help them recover from the trauma, I deeply appreciate. T-Touch Massage by Linda Tellington has been seriously useful for dogs I work with also.

But neither of them met me for dinner!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (I'm now on Half-Blood Prince). It's fun to read the stuff I loved when I was younger. Still love, in fact.

Shadows by Ilsa Bick. It was kinda boring... :/

Re-reading the Tiger Saga by Colleen Houck now though, it's awesome! :D
