Why do I feel so lazy all the time?

It seems like I never want to get out of bed and do anything. I swear, all I do is play on the internet, talk on my phone and sleep. I take online classes at school, so that's made me even lazier considering I don't have to get out of bed to go to class.

I am just tired of feeling so useless. I want to get out there and actually do something, and every night before I go to bed I tell myself that I will, but I never do. I just lay in bed. It's literally like something's holding me down and wont let me up.

I also considered that this could be depression, but I'm not sure...I feel like depression would just put me in a bad mood, not freakin' cripple me!

Depression isn't necessarily being in a bad mood. Depression has many symptoms and effect people differently. Some can get very sad, tired, and lonely. Loss of interest in activities is a sign of depression as well. Once a person is in the cycle of depression it is very hard to fix it by yourself. Medication and behavioral therapy is often needed. You should see your doctor and a psychiatrist. Medication alone will not make you feel better. It really just helps to not make you feel as sad and helps get your head above the water( of being sad) and then a counselor will help you really work through your feelings.

Please see someone. Depression doesn't have to cripple you, you just need some support from your doctor.
