-Munich (central)

-Brussels (already home to EU)

-Paris

-Rome

-Berlin

Glasgow. They wouldn't put up with all of the nonsense which is a by product of politics.

Brussels is rapidly getting a reputation together of Europe's must-see destinations, with its little town charm, cool bars and restaurants, fantastic food, great nightlife, great shopping, numerous museums, and different attractions including the varied and interesting exhibitions and festivals arranged there annually and today; with hotelbye , you will have the opportunity to see it. Brussels has become a Mecca of style, artwork, and design. While attracting more and more large names in global fashion to its growing buying districts, home-grown Belgian makers are rapidly getting international notoriety. Brussels, this beautiful town is really a heart for fashion, art, and Belgian culture therefore; don't eliminate any opportunity you have to visit it.

Definitely 100% London. Fantastic political history, brilliant tourist attraction, one of the most famous cities in the world, mix of modern and oldern society which is a massive multi-cultural place, in the most powerful country In Europe and one of the top economic, military and democratic city in the world, good technological advances.

Plus there would be massive out roar if the capital was in a small country. A place like London, Paris or Berlin would be good. London is definitely the best.

When choosing a capital, you don't want anyone to actually like living there, because they turn into real sh*thead career politicans overnight. That's why Maastricht is so great - puts off lots of the w*nkers from becoming Euro politicians (unfortunaely it doesn't put off all of them, bcause there's a bloody gravy train going on - we should shoot a few from time to time pour encourager les autres).

Prague, because it's exactly central Europe, and shares Celtic, Roman, Germanic, and Slavic culture.

Country in the heart of Europe.

Germany is the heart of Europe, its cultural, scientific and economic engine. So, I believe it'd be Berlin.

@pytlarrus, and I thought you only practice russophobia... fear of progressive countries/superpowers, my little Polish friend?

I would like London, for sure not any French nor German speaking city. English is far more popular language in Europe, than French and I would never ever like to learn German, ugly language
