Boy problems in the house?

Okay so I kinda feel like I'm back in sixth grade dealing with this but I mean I guess it's just one of those things.

So maybe a month ago I went to this local fair with some pals and met up with a friend who was with this boy I eventually became acquainted with. I could tell he really liked me and all of his friends would tell me and I never really comsidered it.

I got to know him better and started liking him alot, like a lot a lot and he would always flirt with me and we'd ride bikes together or get lunch or just something.

But on Halloween he was going to come to

a party with me and completely blew it off and didn't text me back or call me and long story short I havent heard from him since. Apparently a mutual friend of ours whom used to like me told him to completely drop me and ignore me because he thinks I talk and associate myself with a lot of guys. I then found out he hung out with other girls on Halloween and posted Facebook pictures with them on different occasions. I was really upset and definstley made a fool out of myself to the boy that told him to let me go but it's a-okay.

I messaged the boy i like twice asking him why we couldn't talk about it so i could clear everything up and he saw it but didn't respond!! Wow right??

I mean it just really sucks and it's kinda bizarre.

I don't know if this is a normal thing or what but is there anything I should do or just cry a lot and let it go
