Technically there are few snakes that actually hibernate, royal pythons don't hibernate fully. But instead just slow their system down a bit. He might not stop eating for too long, maybe just leave him be just now and see how he goes.

If he starts to lose too much weight then try increase his temps by a few degrees, which might encourage him to feed again.

As long as he has enough hides, and his viv is clean, and has no parasites then he'll be fine.

My pythons have stopped eating this month, and probably won't start eating again till April or May.

Please don't force feed, cause this can damage a snakes mouth, throat, and I've heard cases of the snake dying from it. And it can also stop the snake eating properly.

We worry too much about our snakes/lizards but their usually fine as long as the basic care we give them is perfect.
