you know, I have never been a heavy Springsteen fan, but I do like a number of his tunes. The other day I was thinking about Thunder Road (both accoustic live and electric studio versions), and was just struck by the beauty and the artistry of the lyrics. To me, the songwriting for that tune is just stunning. So --- as far as LYRICS go (even though the music of the song is really good too), and Springsteen's writing on that one, I think you are getting close to perfection...
