what is your point of view with this saying rejection is better than a fake promise?

I do agree. honesty is the best policy.

If you read my questions you'll see I can relate....

My boyfriend was going behind my back for two months meeting other girls, taking them out, meeting his friends and god knows what else.. I had no clue whatsoever until i found out obviously.

I broke up with him and now I am beyond hurt.

he didn't have the guts to just tell me that he wanted to be single and THEN find other girls.. he did it behind my back so I was holding onto false hope that me and him were in a loving relationship.

I'd have still been hurt if he just ended it instead of being sly.. but I'd have respected him more for having the balls to say its over rather than be a cheating lyiong scumbag..

They say "id rather be hurt by the truth than kissed with a lie"... and its true because being lied to and cheated on hurts sooooo much more than you think.

Would you rather be told straight no or would you rather be lead on, have your hopes build up to then be let down and hurt at the end?

Well, in my opinion, the least bit of respect a person can give is honesty.

Note the age-old saying "The truth will set you free"

With that, at least, you won't need to wear a mask or be hypocritical.

Some people just want sex. They don't want to commit relationships but they play along just because they want sex.

The answer is the commitment.

When a girl or a guy commits, they are indirectly delivering their promises.
