Obama is a proven liar. Epic fail on the healthcare roll out

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and its supplemental Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (P.L.111-148 and P.L.111-152, respectively), or the Affordable Care Act (ACA), provides tax credits for people making 400% above the poverty level, and for those making less there is the expanded Medicaid---both of these funded for two full years and then funded 90% each year thereafter. The subsidies are tax credits, as I read the law. The best thing to do would be go on the healthcare.gov insurance marketplace website and find out what subsidies your income qualifies you to receive or else call the 1-800-318-2596 number if the website is still inundated with the millions of inquiries or registrations. At the site, there are many insurance companies participating, and you just might locate a very affordable policy (even if you do not qualify for a subsidy) that now has to include free preventive care (no co-pay), students able to lower college costs by making DIRECT low-interest loans from the Department of Education and thus eliminating banks as high-interest-charging middlemen, no lifetime caps anymore, hospital stays covered, mental health covered, maternity and pregnancy covered, Viagra for erectile dysfunction covered, no more exclusion of coverage due to trumped-up "pre-existing conditions," and my personal favorite: The insurers must now spend at least 80% of every premium dollar you pay (be it individual or business) on actual medical care for you (or the business) or else REFUND THE DIFFERENCE at the end of each year! I love that one...but the army of insurance lobbyists have been funding the GOP's ongoing insane efforts to under the needed reforms (see opensecrets.org and littlesis.org to follow the lobbyist dollar influences).

I have reason to believe that is also a lie.

That or you have to wait several months to get the subsidies, and they won't be as promised. Another Obama lie.

I won't...because I actually WORK. And a working taxpaying citizen is contradictory to qualifying for subsidies.

I have no confidence that we will get them at all.

The IRS is in charge of that.

  • That is what makes it affordable, Einstein, lol.
