do you think that people who want tax breaks that live lavish rich. super rich lives. knowing that those tax?
breaks will result in kids either not eating or getting an education? or is just stupidity or ignorance. also do you think there are special places in hell for them?
Pete- i don't think the rich automatically go to hell. but a person who has a billion. it would take them 85 years with no interest. and every day spending 32000 a day. but they want more. you can only serve one master. money can be a master. and just recently Forbes 500 just kicked people off with less 1.5 billion. there not rich enough. right now 85 percent of every dollar made in the united states goes to the top 15 percent. there's an obvious new master in this fact. and its not god. there is no point in having this kind of money. why are teachers, firemen, doctors in some cases, trash men, plumbers. people who truly serve our society and humanity.

People in this country have always figured out how to deal with their own problems. I'm not understanding why all of the sudden they are the responsibility of the rest of us. I'm not wealthy. I do believe in safety nets but I also believe in the inherent ability of people to "figure it out". If you want to condemn someone for this horrible economy, start with the government who is crushing the job market with regulations.

The super rich often and most of them as well, donate to major charities regularly and in huge sums for most of us. Now why should rich people automatically go to hell, they earned their money in most cases, in some their daddy earned it but somewhere down the line somebody earned it. You know that you are richer than somebody don't you? The tax breaks that you get for your dependents, buying a house, business travel or whatever that money could be used to feed kids or teach them too, will you give it up? Did you even ask for it in the first place? Being rich does not make a person uncaring or evil and neither does being poor make one a victim of the rich or a better person. By the way I live on social security, 1400.00 a month, I am not now nor have I ever been rich. I do not understand the hatred for the rich that comes mostly from liberals when John Kerry is rich, Jesse Jackson is rich, Obama is rich, Al Sharpton is rich, spew some of your hatred on them.

people want tax breaks because it is human nature to want and get as big a piece of the pie as possible, this is just the way that humanity has evolved. also taxing the rich wouldn't do as much as you think for the poor do to inability of our modern day governments to efficiently allocate the use of resources.

They simply want more, and the conservatives are willing to change the laws to assure that will happen.
