Why would a Liberal call it murder to shoot a man who breaks down adoor and attacks the homeowner?

Not if you're a bad shot.

Where I live a guy rigged up a shotgun pointed at the door to get a burglar that keep breaking in his home when was at work. Came home one day and found him dead. He got fined for the possible risk to emergency personnel if there had been a fire or something.

Dead people don't commit more crimes.

My choice for home defense, one shot will do it. With one more if they're still twitching, it's the humane thing to do.

This Liberal calls it Self Defense.

But I would prefer if someone who has a firearm were to shoot to disable rather than to kill.

That is the way I was trained on firearms when I was in the military.

There are some non lethal areas of the body that would disable someone and prevent them from doing any harm to you, while at the same time preserving their life.

We don't need gun control we need to do more so we would not need guns to protect ourselves..

The bad guys prefer unarmed victims!!.

When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.

Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!

No such thing. Even a shot to the shoulder or thigh can kill. Also, if you don't shoot center mass, there is a good chance that you'll miss completely.

They don't. The question is a straw man argument, especially since it is not even bothering to go into the details of any particular case.
