is the three days of darkness a legitimate prophecy?

I'm not catholic, but this still freaks me the hell out. Is this something I should be worried about? Please explain to me why it isn't real/won't happen other than if you think 'God doesn't exist'. I'm a Christian, not Catholic thought. Thanks guys

God is always in control. And if you are a born again believing Christian then you have nothing to worry about, because it does not apply to us This applies to the Great Tribulation. And you and I would be up looking down. God always takes care of his own. The Rapture would have taken place already or we would be the righteous dead, who would be raised at the sound of the Trumpet in 1Cor15v52.

    nope - no Biblical evidence

In Rev Chapter 21 we learn that in the New Jerusalem, there will be no need for a sun or a moon because the Lamb will be the light of the world.

some say that this has already been fulfilled. thoughts differ, but yes that is legitimate prophesy as Christians believe

I was raised Catholic so I am familiar with the "three days of darkness" idea. I think some Catholics believe that it will literally happen during the Apocalypse

It could easily happen if a big enough volcano erupted or a big enough meteor hit
