Because your insurance company decided to cancel it. Out of Obama's control or knowledge. He does not tell private business what to do. Pres Obama did not know this would happen when insurance agreed to make reforms. He apologizes for what has happened to people even though he did not do anything wrong. He is protecting the dignity of the White House, just as Nixon did 35 years earlier.

And in 2014 a lot of employer plans for companies with less than 50 employees will also be cancelled for not meeting Obama's standards.

Democrats want to keep delaying it pass the next election. Now Democrat Senators want to postpone it till after the 2014 midterms.

Depends on your health care plan. Probably because it has an exclusion clause for previous conditions, and your insurance company made the choice to discontinue it and move you into a more expensive plan. That way they make more money and Obama gets the blame for their greed ( and by greed we mean Capitalism).

Could be probably one or two reasons:

ACA sets minimum standards of coverage for insurance plans (you know...like actually paying for things that get really expensive). If you had some bargain basement plan, it may not have met the new standards.

Certain insurance companies are pulling out of exchange markets during the early enrollment period. The thought is that the early enrollees in the ACA exchanges will be "healthcare starved" meaning that they have issues/ conditions that have gone untreated for years and when they get coverage they will use a lot of services upfront. These companies will monitor the situation, and will try to jump back in to the market later on when they feel the healthier enrollees, who are dragging their feet, sign up at the last minute because they have to. They are trying to game the system and force the sicker enrollees to other plans. So if you insurer decides to leave your market, you no longer can be serviced by them.

NOBODY thinks that our current healthcare system is good...it's too expensive and our outcomes are worse. The issue is how to fix it. Liberals wanted single payor where you remove the burden of providing healthcare from employers, remove the profit motive and throw everyone into a big pot where young people subsidize the old people to control costs.

On the other hand, conservatives wanted to work within the current insurance framework to provide reform by regulation and subidizing the current system. They can deny it all they want..but this is THEIR plan. While I actually favor the idea of the conservatives system (why obliterate an entire industry...can't we make it better) it actually requires the cooperation of these companies. These companies liked the way it was...they liked not having to cover sick people or limiting lifetime benefits. Better for profits. These healthcare insurance companies are for profit and their main goal is to make money and they are going to try every trick in the book to do it reform or not.

I guess because you had a substandard policy and your insurance company canceled/switched it. My insurance company switched me from Medicare to Medicare Advantage last year, but at least I had a choice.. I went with the change, it is OK, but now I have a PPO list I have to use.. I don't like that.

It ain't fair to those that don't have the same care. Only unions, big corporations and Congress are exempt.

You have to pay off the Administration. This is about fund raising. Wake up!

Because O'Bama and the Democrats don't like it!

If you don't like that just wait until a government employee knocks on your door to inspect your refridgerator to make sure you are eating correctly!

Because The Chosen One has stripped you of your freedom to choose. You see, you are NOT intelligent enough to make important decisions for yourself. You are just a stupid sheep. You MUST let the all-wise. all-knowing, all-powerful government do your thinking FOR you. Besides, you didn't REALLY want freedom. Did you?

According to liberals, your plan is nothing but "junk" and they know what's best for you because they think you are too stupid to figure it out on your own.
