Yup, always safer to have a doctor to take a look at it. Are you a lefty? Have you been using your left arm for an extensive long period of time and in heavy lifting?

Go to the EMERGENCY unit in the hospital they will help you out and diagnose a problem losing feeling in your arm is not a good sign for anything so the healthy choice would be to get it checked out, if you have a family doctor that would probably be better if it is nothing major.
