looking for a good, not too expensive exercise bike?
my daughter has asked for an exercise bike for Christmas. I'm at a loss to know what type of thing to look for, hoe it works etc. Need it to do more than just a couple of strolling miles but not looking for a real professional machine that needs high power. It's just a way to help loose a few extra pounds, several really on legs. Many thanks to anyone who points me in the right direction of what to buy. Thanks in advance.

Go to Amazon and read the reviews. Stationary bikes are very boring. I just put one of my bikes on a trainer. You want a magnetic resistance one they are quiet and nothing to wear out.

If she's already got a regular bike, best and least expensive option is to get a bike trainer. That's what almost all cyclists, even the pros, use to ride indoors.
