how to hang Christmas lights with no eavestrough?
i have a house sort of like this

and on the peek of the house there is no eavestrough to attach the bulbs to. but over the garage there is a eavestrough in which i have attached those clips to. how would i get lights up there without putting any holes in the roof
i live in Canada. its already -20C where i live and i don't want to go up when it is -40C out. plus there is already 6 inches of snow on the ground. and ive already had my thanks giving

There are clips that permit you to connect to the roof shingles and don't require a rain gutter (which is what I assume an eaves trough is). Check out the following link to see if there is a clip style that may meet your needs.

Why are you bothering to put christmas lights up now. Its only november we havent even gotten to thanksgiving yet.
