Close, Broncos by 6
Here's why it won't be a blowout:
1) The Broncos offense has struggled a bit (relatively speaking) when teams have moved to physical press man coverage. This happens to be exactly what the Chiefs are best at.
2) The Broncos replacement left tackle, Chris Clark, has definitely struggled against top tier competition. Tamba Hali is rushing the passer as well as or better than anyone in the league. Including Robert Mathis, who basically carved Clark up and ate him like a Christmas ham on national television.
3) The Chiefs pass rush has struggled most with quarterbacks who get out of the pocket and run around. Peyton Manning is a statue.
4) The Broncos offense just did this in 4 straight drives in the 2nd half against a Chargers defense that is missing its best pass rusher and is very weak in the secondary...
2 plays, -9 yards (fumble)
6 plays, 15 yards (punt)
3 plays, 6 yards (punt)
7 plays, 22 yards (punt)
.... this is of great importance because the Chiefs are the best closing team in football. They haven't been outscored in the 4th quarter once and they've allowed 17 points total in the 4th quarter this year and scored 70 in the 4th.
5) The Chiefs can score. The offense might be sluggish but the great thing about the rules is that they allow the defense can score as well. Before week 10 (haven't checked the new numbers since yesterday), KC was only 19 total points out from being the #10 scoring team in the NFL.
Edit: The Chiefs have been playing quite a bit of zone the last few games. If that trend continues on Sunday, then Manning will shred us and Denver will probably win by 10+.

Not a broncos fan but I believe Peyton manning will get the job done and give the Chiefs their first loss. Playing a powerhouse team like the Broncos and winning is no easy task

Sorry it took me so long to answer, but I had to stop laughing at the comment about Alex blowing through a defense. I'm still chuckling about that one. I watched every game he every played for the Niners, and he never "blew through" anybody.
Broncos 31-10.

Alex Smith is gonna blow out Broncos pathetic defense. The Chiefs D is gonna send Manning to a retirement home. Manning should bring Papa Johns pizza for his retirement party and a walker.

Will most definitely be close! Gonna be fun to watch Peyton Manning go against that Chief's defense.

I better pick the chiefs. I don/t want my ex miss 5 ft 4. of letting me have it again.
