should I buy a tablet or an ebook reader?
My mobile is samsung galaxy note which, as you know is quite big. But I read a lot of pdf books everyday and my mobile is just not right for this purpose.
Are there any colour ebook readers in market?
And if I sould buy a tablet, which brand is less harmfull to the eye?
As for Apple, I don't really feel good about it cause I am really comfortable with android and I really don't feel like giving it up. Also Ipads are a bit too much for me as I don't need a good camera or sim card or anything...
Thank you!

Hey there. If you are not comfortable in reading with your Galaxy Note then IMO you should go for the eReader as they are the best for reading purpose.
Tablet on the other hand would be same as reading on your Galaxy Note just with a bit bigger screen. Whereas eReaders use the eInk screen which is more feasible for readers.
See this discussion on eReaders vs Tablet for reading purpose:

The best option for you would be Kindle Paperwhite. But if you wish for a tablet then I do prefer an eReader tablet like the Kindle Fire HDX which is more reader friendly compared to other tablets.
Hope this helped!

If you have eye strain problems you will want an ereader with a graphite screen. Other then that you would love the samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0 or 8.0. It is much smaller and can fit in your coat pocket. I recommend you get an otterbox with the tablet if you plan to take it to places. With Polaris office installed you can open any pdf or Microsoft office document. You can download the kindle book store app and still read books on it. With teamviewer you can access your computer at home while you are in a waiting room or anywhere as long as you have wifi. I have a samsung galexy tab 2 7.0 and I love it. You being experienced with the 10.0 should make it easier for you to learn how to use the 7.0 or the 8.0.
~good luck

If you are going to be just doing reading, get an ebook reader. They usually have a feature to reduce eye strain, and they make their books like paper, so it's easier to read than a tablet.
If you want to be watching movies/listening to music, playing games, etc., get a tablet.

Kindle make a colour reader. The drawback with the Kindle is that you can only download Kindle applications to it, which might not include the PDFs you want to read.
