There is no disposal problem with olive oil as it is non-toxic. But for what can you use it if it is out of date? Try this: draw a bath for yourself and in a cup put two capfuls and some liquid soap, mix and pour into your bath. (so that the tub cleans up easily)This is good for your skin ( you won't need any body lotion). You can do this as often as you want. You can massage it into your scalp, let sit 30 minutes (or as long as you are in the bath) and wash it out. (again, very good for your scalp)If you don't want to use it up this way, at least use it for bathing your feet.(again, softens the skin beautifully)
You can also use it in a glass jar with a floating wick as fuel with a drop or two of essential oils in it for fragrance. This will burn quite a long time. I hope this helps.

In the bin? Down the drain? In the backyard? Or maybe you're looking for more creative suggestions like forcefeeding it to a pelican? The only limit to your olive oil disposal options is your imagination. The world's your oyster. So give 'em hell, Jon. We'll all be rooting for you.

Get a wide mouthed glass vessel (like a brandy snifter), fill it partially with water, pour a layer of your olive oil on top, insert an appropriate floating wick --- and you have a candle.
You can add food dye to the water to make more colorful

The oil can be put in the trash. Motor oil is the kind of oil you have to dispose of the right way.
