Could someone please help me?

To understand the result of the committee who have decided that no blame can be attached to any single person or dept. contributing to the death of a child I am at a complete loss to come to terms with these findings I do hope we will not hear again " We must learn from this"that answer has been given out so many times it must be scripted for use over and over again If I hear correctly then these finding are farcical

No individual is to be held accountable.

But no one cones out of it well.

While race is a barrier to criticism these cases will continue.

  • You are by no means alone, mr Disgruntled and I both cringed and rolled our eyes at the usual lessons etc etc statement, a beautiful, lovable little boy died surrounded by squalor and yet police and social services had cause to visit the house several times but incredibly no one went inside, the boy's father had an injunction preventing him from seeing the children but he stated ages ago that he asked the police to check on the boy who was still alive at the time because he was concerned about the conditions in which the children were being raised, perhaps he should have had custody instead of the mother!

Somebody, somewhere should take responsibility, the government have criticised the findings of the enquiry and raised several questions about the case....quite rightly!

No accountability for their decisions. The politics of placing blame/responsibility on others means you fear being judged yourself in the future. The larger the committee, the harder it is to come to concrete conclusions and actions.
