Reccomendations for old roughly 16th century choral pieces?

I am looking to find some new music, and am particularly interested in the older 16th/17th century choral stuff written for choirs.

I particularly like the sadder pieces opposed to the upbeat ones, which I know is very subjective, but hopefully it may aid the recommendations a bit better.

Thanks so much!!

William Byrd, Four and Three part masses. Kyrie from the 3-part mass is so ... tranquil. Also, Ave Verum Corpus. Wow.

Thomas Tallis - pretty much anything. Spem In Alium is amazing, go and listen to it - but it's very hard to put on, since it has 40 vocal parts!

Palestrina is supposed to be very good, though I don't know his work.

Here's a lovely little piece by Quirino Gasparini called "Adoramus Te Christe"

They used to think Mozart wrote it, but then discovered that he didn't... The sheet music is freely available too
