Did I hurt him?! Help!?
Me and my good friend/classmate/crush-ish were talking and I called him stupid (not meant in a mean way) and he just kind of avoided me for the rest of the period (not really sure if that's true or intentional), talking with other people. I really hope I didn't hurt him... I'm so paranoid right now.
What do you guys think?

It sounds like you probably did hurt his feelings. I'm sure you didn't mean to, but some people are really really sensitive about being called stuff like that. I would know, I am one of them! If anyone calls me stupid, even in jest, I get MAD. REALLY MAD. So it definitely happens.
Best thing to do is pull him aside and tell him you're sorry you called him stupid. Just be like "Look, I acted like kind of a jerk the other day. I shouldn't have called you what I did. It's a stupid habit and I know it must have bothered you. I'm sorry and I hope we're cool now."

You better just come out with it between class and tell him how sorry you are. Apologize, get that out of the way. Tell him you didn't mean it, it came out of anger. Don't let the problem fester. Good luck, and I hope you have love, laughter and music in your life.

yes, you hurt his feelings. Its really true, that some guys have this delicate and fragile egos that is capable of being crushed readily.
