Don't put all your eggs in one basket. So 2 large baskets should be enough to hold all your eggs.

Since we all know the chicken came before the egg, it would be one hen to a basket.....

  • We raise chickens and I have more than one basket and, many more chickens. I have never counted but I would wager, a basket would hold three dozen (36 eggs). I usually put the eggs in my dress. ( lol!) :D

All the eggs a basket can physically hold to one basket, because one basket is managable. Since you don't have to split your attention or resources carrying multiple baskets, you can prevent many mistakes that you couldn't with multiple baskets. For example, you have a basket of eggs. A fox runs for the basket, you swat the fox with your free hand and it runs away. You have two baskets, one in each hand. A fox runs for the baskets and you can either: A. Let the fox do whatever it wants. B. Swat the fox with one of the baskets. C. Set down a basket and swat at the fox. Option A the fox steals eggs from both baskets. Option B you break half the eggs in one basket to make the fox run away, but the other basket is safe. Option C the fox just steals all the eggs from the now unattended basket.

So put all of the eggs in one basket.
