How many Pokemon are currently obtainable in Pokemon X and Y (before Pokemon Bank)?
I want to know how many total Pokemon are currently possible to obtain (legally) in Pokemon X and Y, including all evolutions and Friend Safari Pokemon.
I just want to be able to look at my Pokedex and see how close I am to having all of the ones that are available as of NOW.

718 in the national dex. according to serbii, there are 125 unobtainable pokemon. but 3 of those are the Torchic family. which means there are only 122 that are unavailable. leaving 596.
