Are you surprised Obama's approval rating is even that high?

The most recent poll shows Obama's approval rating at 38%. When you consider one-third of Americans are hardcore liberals, that means 6% of people who can think for themselves actually approve of Obama's performance. It surprises me that it's that high. Does it surprise you?

What surprises me is that anyone thinks Americans have actual liberals.

By global standards, the US has two right-wing parties. But I digress.

Personally, I find it quite surprising Obama's rating isn't lower.

He's without doubt the most embattled President in living memory.

But of course, every US Democrat I've talked to about that subject takes pains to remind me the GOP's not doing so hot itself.

It's always, "Yeah but Republicans have a record all-time low approval due to the shutdown."

Unless and until mainstream American conservatives take back the GOP from the RINOs and radicals who've subverted it, there's not much hope for improving that situation.

It'll simply remain a mudslinging match that gets nobody anywhere.

Surprised? Not really. Like I said before, I'd be really, really taken aback if the Muslim's approval reaches Bush-levels. Because there are a segment of our population (and you know who I'm talking about) that will support the Muslim no matter what. Like if he held a press conference and stated that he was born in Kenya and intends to ruin America by forcing white ppl to pay reparations to blacks, the 12% would still support him.

In reality, his approval numbers ought to be in single digits.

Not really. What does surprise me is that after decades of epic failure on both sides that the American citizenry still looks to either party for anything.

I've wondered for a while, if his approval numbers aren't fixed like the unemployment figures. It shows though, how completely dumbed-down, and mind-controlled the public is.

Add in the fact he automatically gets 96% plus of African American approval, his rating is much lower than posted.

Don't worry it will come down now we know that one half of the private health care polices are being cancelled in 2014. 30 million to lose their health care.

No, because there are so many low information voters who are still shaking their pompoms for the idiot in chief. But his approval rating will go lower.....I am positive of that.

I am surprised it is that low. I had thought he was regarded as a very popular president. Was it a Fox News poll or something?

No. I've notice how the hold of drive-by conservative media has slipped during the end of Bush's time in office. Their propaganda machine has lost its credibility.

I find it funny that you've even been indoctrinated to believe this indoctrination is "thinking for oneself."
